In Spring 2023 I graduated from the School of Aviation & Transportation Technology at Purdue University with a Bachelor’s degree in Professional Flight and a Master’s degree in Aviation and Aerospace Management. I hold both EASA and FAA commercial pilot licenses with multi-engine and instrument ratings, several endorsements, and both Irish (EU) and US citizenship.
Long before my flying career started, I have been garnering the skills needed to become a professional pilot, in Boy Scouts, my schooling, and the Flying Circus. Later, my experiences at Purdue University and basic flight training continued to teach me about leadership, good morals, hard work, and safety; especially recently at Chantilly Air Jet Center FBO, where I had the privilege of serving high profile clients on the ramp in a fast-paced business aviation environment. I always strive for perfection in everything I do.
I am highly personable, interdependent, meticulous, dedicated, and always remain calm under pressure; the qualities a professional pilot needs most outside of raw aeronautical skills. For the past few years, I have also been honing these skills using my family’s 1947 Beechcraft Bonanza, often operating out of shorter runways, sometimes near max gross weight, as I love to challenge myself and have flown to nearly every public airport (66) in my home state. This has also allowed me to engage in the operations management side of aviation as I keep the aircraft airworthy in both paperwork and maintenance.
