Description

Position Summary
Seeking a Senior Assistant Chief Flight Instructor to support flight training operations, regulatory compliance, instructor development, and operational excellence within a FAR Part 141 training environment. This leadership role is responsible for supporting instructor training programs, overseeing curriculum compliance, fostering a culture of safety, and helping develop the next generation of professional pilots.


Responsibilities
• Serve as the designated FAR Part 141 Assistant Chief Instructor
• Support flight training, compliance, and operational excellence initiatives
• Manage flight instructor training programs and certifications
• Conduct instructor performance evaluations
• Oversee curriculum updates and training program enhancements
• Ensure compliance with FAA regulations and university standards
• Promote a culture of safety and regulatory compliance
• Support instructor and student success initiatives
• Serve as a liaison between students, instructors, and leadership
• Facilitate communication and problem-solving across flight operations and training departments


Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Aviation or Related Field
• FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate (ASEL, AMEL, Instrument)
• Certified Flight Instructor (CFI)
• Certified Flight Instructor – Instrument (CFII)
• Multi-Engine Instructor (MEI)
• Minimum 5 Years of Piloting Experience
• Minimum 3 Years in Flight Training Roles
• Extensive Knowledge of FAA Regulations
• Experience Managing Flight Training Programs
• Strong Leadership, Communication, and Organizational Skills


Preferred Qualifications
• Advanced Degree
• Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate
• Advanced Ground Instructor (AGI)
• Instrument Ground Instructor (IGI)
