Position Summary

The Production Test Pilot conducts flight test evaluations of production aircraft and systems to ensure performance and design specifications are met. This role supports Gulfstream Flight Operations through production testing, maintenance flights, and operational missions in both domestic and international environments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct production and functional test flights on Gulfstream aircraft
• Evaluate aircraft systems including engines and avionics
• Ensure aircraft meet design and performance specifications
• Operate aircraft in support of maintenance, delivery, and customer operations
• Coordinate with production, maintenance, and technical teams
• Assist with flight planning and operational coordination
• Ensure compliance with Flight Operations Manual (FOM) and SOPs
• Maintain strong communication with internal stakeholders
• Represent Gulfstream with professionalism in all operations

Requirements

• ATP Certificate
• First Class Medical
• 1,500 total flight hours OR 1,000 PIC turbine hours
• Minimum 5 years professional pilot experience
• Strong knowledge of flight operations
• Ability to operate in domestic and international environments
• Legal right to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship provided)

Preferred Qualifications

• Gulfstream GVII / GVIII type ratings
• Functional test pilot experience
• Flight Instructor experience
