Position Summary

The Lear 45 Instructor Pilot delivers simulator and ground-based training, developing pilot proficiency, confidence, and operational readiness while supporting CAE’s training excellence.


Responsibilities

• Deliver flight simulator and ground school training in accordance with regulatory and company standards
• Conduct pre-flight and post-flight simulator briefings
• Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for training programs
• Maintain training records and instructional qualifications
• Provide instruction across aircraft types for licenses, type ratings, and certifications
• Support course development and recommend remedial training as needed


Requirements

• Unrestricted ATP certificate or completion of ATP Written
• Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office and web-based tools)
• Participation in DOT Drug & Alcohol testing program
• Strong communication skills and passion for teaching
• Must be authorized to work in the United States


Preferred Qualifications

• Unrestricted PIC Type Rating
• Part 135 experience and 3,000+ total flight hours
• Experience flying business aircraft
• Prior instructional or training experience
• Strong attention to detail and customer-focused mindset
