Description

Position Summary

The Chief Flight Instructor is responsible for leading flight training operations, mentoring flight instructors, supporting student success, and helping drive the continued growth of the flight school. This position serves as a key leadership role within the training department and is responsible for maintaining high standards of safety, professionalism, and instructional quality.


Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee flight training operations
• Mentor and support flight instructors
• Promote safe and effective flight training practices
• Support student progression and training success
• Assist with the continued growth and development of the flight school
• Maintain high standards of professionalism and instructional excellence


Requirements

• Minimum 2,000 hours total flight time
• Minimum 1,500 hours CFI flight time
• Minimum 3 years of CFI experience
• Minimum 250 hours CFII instruction time


Preferred Qualifications

• Previous leadership or management experience in a flight training environment
• Strong communication and mentorship skills
