Position Summary

The Simulator Second in Command (SIC) supports pilot training programs by acting as SIC for customers during simulator-based training. This role ensures realistic multi-crew operations for pilots training without a partner while maintaining required qualifications and standards.

Responsibilities

• Act as Second in Command (SIC) for customer pilots during simulator training
• Support multi-crew training operations in various aircraft types
• Maintain SIC qualifications in accordance with assigned programs
• Ensure compliance with company Quality Management Systems (QMS)
• Keep all certificates, ratings, and qualifications current
• Operate within flexible training schedules and high-performance environments

Requirements

• FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate with appropriate ratings
• Instrument rating
• Minimum 450 total flight hours
• Strong communication and cockpit coordination skills
• Ability to work in dynamic, training-focused environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Multi-crew experience
• Prior simulator or training environment experience
• Second language (depending on location)

Aircraft

• Various (Simulator-based, multiple aircraft types)
