Position Summary

The Flight Instructor provides flight, simulator, and ground instruction while ensuring student progress, maintaining training records, and upholding FAA regulations and company standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct flight and ground instruction in accordance with FAA regulations
• Ensure student understanding of safety procedures and training standards
• Maintain accurate training records and student documentation
• Monitor student progress and ensure course completion
• Initiate stage checks and required evaluations
• Ensure aircraft readiness and report maintenance issues
• Conduct tours and engage with prospective students
• Participate in meetings and instructor development training

Requirements

• FAA Certified Flight Instructor (CFI – ASEL)
• FAA Commercial or ATP Certificate
• Current FAA Medical Certificate
• 100 hours in Cessna 172 or Piper Warrior/Archer
• No history of incidents or accidents
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
