Description

Position Summary
Seeking Certified Flight Instructors (CFIs) to provide high-quality flight and ground instruction while delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism. Instructors will work closely with students from their first flight through certification in a structured training environment.


Responsibilities
• Provide professional flight and ground instruction to student pilots
• Deliver engaging, interactive ground instruction using a whiteboard and effective teaching techniques
• Prepare students for FAA knowledge and practical tests
• Maintain the highest standards of safety and instructional quality
• Conduct instructional flights in accordance with FAA regulations and company procedures
• Maintain accurate student training records and documentation
• Build positive relationships with students through effective communication and mentorship
• Maintain a professional appearance and attitude at all times
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development


Requirements
• FAA Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) Certificate
• No more than two FAA practical test (checkride) failures
• Weekend availability required
• Availability for instructional flights beginning as early as 7:00 AM
• One-year employment commitment
• Strong teaching and communication skills
• Ability to teach ground lessons without relying solely on presentations or scripted material
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Ability to work in a customer-focused training environment


Preferred Qualifications
• CFII and/or MEI preferred
• Strong instructional and mentoring abilities
• Experience teaching beginner pilots
