Description
Position Summary
Seeking a Pilot responsible for the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft, including flight planning, flight operations, passenger support, scheduling coordination, record keeping, and maintenance planning activities. This position supports the Aviation Manager and flight department personnel while maintaining the highest standards of safety, customer service, and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
• Safely operate company aircraft in accordance with approved procedures and FAA regulations
• Maintain in-flight control of the aircraft as Pilot Flying
• Monitor aircraft condition, performance, fuel requirements, alternate airports, and operational limitations
• Conduct and assist with flight planning activities
• Evaluate and monitor weather conditions
• Maintain aircraft readiness and oversee routine aircraft servicing activities
• Maintain and verify aircraft and pilot records utilizing PFM software
• Assist with reports and scheduling activities
• Coordinate schedule changes and passenger requirements with flight department personnel
• Assist with passenger scheduling
• Verify navigation databases, charts, aircraft publications, and FAA publications
• Maintain familiarity with company flight department policies and procedures
• Coordinate fuel, de-icing, and other aircraft services with Fixed Base Operators during stopovers and hangar stays
Requirements
• FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate with Instrument and Multi-Engine Ratings
• Minimum 1,500 Total Flight Hours
• High School Diploma
• FAA Class I or Class II Medical Certificate
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of FAA regulations applicable to flight department operations
• Knowledge of flight department policies and procedures
• Ability to utilize Cockpit Resource Management (CRM) principles
• Ability to operate complex aircraft systems in dynamic environments
• Ability to make decisions affecting the safety of personnel and company assets
• FAA Second Class Medical Certificate required for employment
• Ability to work occasional nights, weekends, and extended duty days
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions and airport environments
Preferred Qualifications
• Minimum 1,000 Multi-Engine PIC Hours
• Minimum 2,000 Total Flight Hours
• Minimum 500 Turboprop Hours
• Minimum 50 Hours in BE-300 Aircraft
• FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate
• King Air BE-300 Type Certification
• Current King Air 350/360 Simulator-Based Training
• Two Years of College or Equivalent Technical Experience
