Position Summary

The Pilot in Command (PIC) operates a Socata TBM 700 under Part 91 for a group of co-owners. This role involves single-pilot operations with a strong emphasis on safety, planning, and consistency, with flights typically scheduled in advance.


Responsibilities

• Serve as Pilot in Command for TBM 700 operations
• Operate in a single-pilot environment (SRM)
• Ensure compliance with FARs, AIM, and company procedures
• Conduct preflight inspections and passenger briefings
• Monitor flight conditions and make operational decisions
• Maintain accurate documentation and aircraft records
• Communicate effectively with passengers and team members
• Participate in training, meetings, and ongoing education
• Maintain aircraft safety and operational readiness


Requirements

• FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate (ASEL & AMEL)
• Instrument Rating
• First or Second Class Medical
• Valid driver’s license
• No FAA enforcement actions within the last 5 years
• Strong communication and decision-making skills


Preferred Qualifications

• 2,000 total flight hours
• 1,500 PIC hours
• 500 cross-country hours
• 100 night hours
• 75 instrument hours (50 actual)
• TBM 700 experience
• Turbine and pressurized aircraft experience
• Cold weather and icing experience
• EFIS and autopilot system experience
