Description

Position Summary
The Captain is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft while supporting Perdue Farms’ corporate aviation mission. This role operates under company policies, FAA regulations, ICAO guidelines, and manufacturer recommendations while providing leadership, mentorship, exceptional customer service, and operational excellence. The Captain will contribute to a collaborative flight department culture focused on safety, professionalism, continuous improvement, and work-life balance.


Responsibilities
• Operate company aircraft in a safe and efficient manner
• Comply with all FARs, ICAO guidelines, and manufacturer recommendations
• Lead by example with honesty, integrity, and professionalism
• Provide options and solutions when business travel needs change
• Maintain a high level of preparedness for all assigned flights
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the flight department
• Assist with non-flying duties as required
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to less experienced team members
• Demonstrate stewardship and sound decision-making
• Deliver exceptional customer service to company travelers


Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work-related experience
• Minimum 4,000 hours total flight time
• Minimum 2,000 hours multi-engine time
• Valid FAA First Class Medical Certificate
• Valid Passport
• Ability to travel internationally without restriction
• No history of FAA enforcement actions
• Exceptional dependability and professionalism
• Must be willing to relocate within 80 miles of Salisbury, Maryland
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States


Preferred Qualifications
• ATP Multi-Engine Certificate
• Embraer Phenom 300 Type Rating
• Corporate flight department experience
