Position Summary

The Second in Command (SIC) operates the Pilatus PC-12 in support of scheduled Essential Air Service routes and on-demand charter operations, assisting the Captain in all phases of flight while delivering a high level of customer service.

Responsibilities

• Assist the PIC in all phases of flight operations
• Perform pre-flight and post-flight inspections
• Support passenger service and coordination for each leg
• Maintain compliance with FAA regulations and company SOPs
• Assume PIC responsibilities if required
• Update flight and duty records and report discrepancies
• Participate in safety and quality management systems
• Communicate with crew, passengers, and operations teams

Requirements

• Commercial Pilot Certificate (AMEL)
• 1,000 Total Flight Hours
• 500 PIC Hours
• 500 Cross-Country Hours
• 100 Night Hours
• 75 Instrument Hours (50 actual)
• 25 Multi-Engine Hours
• Current Medical Certificate
• Valid U.S. Passport
• Ability to pass FAA drug/alcohol screening and background checks
• Ability to work flexible schedule (nights, weekends, holidays)

• CFI / CFII / MEI
• Strong customer service and multi-tasking skills
