Alaska Seaplanes is Southeast Alaska’s commuter airline, charter, and tour company serving multiple communities with scheduled and on-demand flights. The company operates a diverse fleet and provides access to remote destinations including bush airstrips and mountain lakes.
Position Summary
The Pilot operates amphibious and seaplane aircraft in Part 135 scheduled and on-demand operations, ensuring safe and efficient transport of passengers throughout Southeast Alaska in both IFR and VFR environments.
Responsibilities
• Operate flights as single-pilot PIC under Part 135
• Conduct scheduled and charter operations
• Ensure safe and efficient transport of passengers and cargo
• Maintain aircraft airworthiness and readiness
• Operate in dynamic weather and remote environments
• Provide professional customer service to passengers
Requirements
• 1,500 Total Flight Hours
• 300 Hours Single Engine Sea Time
• Clean FAA record (no incidents/accidents)
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to work flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
Preferred Qualifications
• Alaska flying experience
• Time in type or similar equipment
