Position Summary
The First Officer (SIC) supports Learjet operations under Part 135, assisting the Captain in safe and efficient flight operations. This role requires strong situational awareness, professionalism, and the ability to operate in a dynamic charter environment.
Responsibilities
• Assist the PIC in all phases of flight planning and execution
• Operate aircraft in accordance with FAA regulations and company procedures
• Perform pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight duties
• Monitor aircraft systems, weather, and operational conditions
• Maintain communication with crew, dispatch, and ground personnel
• Support aircraft readiness and report maintenance needs
• Ensure compliance with safety management systems (SMS)
• Provide professional passenger service
Requirements
• FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate (AMEL)
• Instrument Rating
• First or Second Class Medical
• 1,100 total flight hours
• Ability to pass background, drug, and PRIA checks
• Valid passport with international travel ability
Preferred Qualifications
• Learjet Type Rating (LR60, LR45, LR35/36)
• Part 91 or 135 experience
• ATP or ATP-CTP completion
• Corporate or charter aviation experience
