Position Summary

The First Officer (SIC) supports fixed-wing air medical operations on the Hawker 800, assisting the Captain in safe and efficient flight execution. This role includes domestic and international operations under Part 135, with a structured rotating schedule and mission-driven flying environment.


Responsibilities

• Serve as Second in Command under Part 135 operations
• Support the Captain in all phases of flight and operational control
• Ensure aircraft readiness in coordination with dispatch
• Comply with FAA, ICAO, and international flight regulations
• Maintain professionalism in high-pressure, mission-driven environments
• Attend required training, meetings, and check flights
• Operate within an 8 on / 6 off rotation schedule with 12-hour duty shifts
• Support international missions and dynamic operational needs


Requirements

• ATP Certificate (or ability to obtain)
• 1,500 total flight hours
• 250 multi-engine hours
• 250 PIC hours
• First Class Medical (or ability to obtain and maintain)
• Valid U.S. Passport
• Ability to obtain HS-125-800 Type Rating
• Eligibility for Chinese “C” class visa
• Ability to live in or relocate to Birmingham, AL


Preferred Qualifications

• Previous Part 135 experience
• Multi-crew and international operations experience
