Description

Position Summary

The Second in Command (Rotor Wing) Pilot supports Part 135 and Part 91 flight operations while assisting the Pilot in Command in the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of company rotorcraft. This position supports executive transportation, crew changes, surveillance, and offshore logistics operations while maintaining the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and regulatory compliance.


Responsibilities
• Serve as Second in Command during assigned Part 135 and Part 91 flight operations
• Perform duties delegated by the Pilot in Command during flight assignments
• Operate aircraft in accordance with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Supervise aircraft during fueling operations
• Keep passengers informed of flight status and operational delays
• Assume Pilot in Command duties in the event of Pilot in Command incapacitation and divert to the nearest suitable airport
• Maintain familiarity with company operating manuals and compliance documents
• Register and maintain Pilot Records Database (PRD) requirements
• Maintain instrument and night landing currency
• Assist with aircraft loading, unloading, and weight and balance calculations
• Participate in the company’s Safety Management System (SMS)
• Support international flight operations as required
• Perform additional duties assigned by management


Requirements
• High School Diploma or GED
• FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate
• FAA First or Second Class Medical Certificate
• Meet the qualifications required to act as VFR Pilot in Command under 14 CFR Part 135.243(b)
• Minimum 500 Hours Total Flight Time
• Minimum 100 Hours Cross-Country Flight Time
• Minimum 25 Hours Night Flight Time
• U.S. Citizenship required
• Ability to travel internationally
• Ability to assist with aircraft loading and unloading
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds
• Ability to pass pre-employment substance abuse screening
