Description

Position Summary
The Captain is responsible for safely operating the Fairchild SA227 within an on-demand cargo operation throughout North America. The role ensures regulatory compliance, provides leadership to the flight crew, supports cargo handling operations, and maintains the highest standards of safety and professionalism during all phases of flight.


Responsibilities
• Operate aircraft in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations and company policies
• Safely transport cargo throughout North America
• Assist with loading and unloading freight
• Maintain professional communication with internal and external personnel
• Report aircraft discrepancies for maintenance review and corrective action
• Conduct flight operations during day, night, and all-weather conditions
• Promote flight crew safety and exceptional customer service
• Perform additional duties as assigned


Requirements
• FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate – Multi-Engine Land with Instrument Rating or FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate
• Current Instrument Proficiency Check (IPC)
• FAA First Class Medical Certificate
• FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit
• Current Passport
• Valid Driver’s License
• Eligibility to work in the United States
• English proficiency
• Minimum age of 18 years
• Ability to obtain an airport SIDA badge
• Ability to lift up to 120 pounds
• Ability to climb ladders and maneuver around aircraft
• Successful completion of DOT drug screening and required background checks
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, multiple shifts, and after-hours callouts
• iPad required when reporting for duty
• 1,500 hours Total Flight Time
• 1,000 hours Pilot-in-Command
• 500 hours Multi-Engine
• 500 hours Cross-Country
• 100 hours Night Flight Time


Preferred Qualifications
• Fairchild SA227 or Honeywell TPE331 turboprop experience
• Previous Part 135 or Part 121 experience
• Previous cargo flying experience
• Familiarity with company aircraft
