Description

Position Summary
The Pilot in Command reports directly to the Base Chief Pilot and is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft within a private jet management operation operating under Part 91 and Part 135, in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations and company procedures.


Responsibilities
• Manage duty, flight, and rest times in accordance with company policies and Federal Aviation Regulations
• Maintain communication with the company regarding standby assignments, trip notifications, position reports, and pre- and post-flight reports
• Maintain and manage electronic flight bag (EFB) hardware and applications
• Ensure navigation charts, publications, and company manuals remain current
• Maintain a current First Class Medical Certificate
• Demonstrate strong, proactive decision-making skills
• Uphold the company’s core values in all interactions


Requirements
• ATP Certificate or ability to obtain
• First Class FAA Medical Certificate
• FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit
• Current U.S. Passport
• Valid U.S. Driver’s License or ability to obtain
• Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
• Successfully pass an FAA Pilot Records Database review
• Pass a pre-employment drug screening and participate in required random drug and alcohol testing
• Unrestricted ability to travel to Canada and Caribbean countries
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
• Live within a 2-hour call-out radius of the assigned base or be willing to relocate
• Ability to frequently lift up to 50 pounds
• 3,500 hours Total Flight Time
• 2,000 hours Pilot-in-Command
• 250 hours Time in Type
• 250 hours Pilot-in-Command Time in Type
• 1,500 hours Multi-Engine
• 500 hours Multi-Engine Pilot-in-Command
• 500 hours Turbine
• 300 hours Instrument


Preferred Qualifications
• Initial or recurrent Part 142 training in type completed within the previous 24 months
