Position Summary
The Texas Screwworm Eradication (TSE) First Officer is responsible for supporting the safe and professional operation of Beechcraft King Air 90 aircraft. Reporting to the Base Manager, the First Officer performs SIC duties while supporting aerial mission operations and maintaining a strong commitment to safety and operational excellence.

Responsibilities
• Perform all duties and responsibilities of the Second in Command (SIC)
• Maintain familiarity with destination and alternate airports, weather conditions, fuel and oil requirements, navigation aids, radio aids, and applicable NOTAMs
• Promote and support the company’s safety management system
• Inform the Base Manager of any customer, aircraft, weather, or operational issues that could impact mission accomplishment
• Complete assigned preflight, postflight, and reporting responsibilities
• Operate fly dispersal equipment during flights
• Clean fly dispersal equipment following flights
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements
• High School Diploma
• FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate with Multi-Engine Rating and Instrument Rating
• FAA First Class or Second Class Medical Certificate
• Minimum 250 Hours Total Time
• Ability to work effectively as a team member in both flight and ground operations
• Teachable, self-motivated, and hard-working
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to learn and use computer programs for recordkeeping, time reporting, travel, and expense reporting
• Ability to relocate to the Edinburg, TX area
• Ability to lift, balance, and carry up to 75 pounds

• Relevant College Degree
• Fluent in Spanish
