Description

Position Summary
The Quick Upgrade Captain is responsible for operating company aircraft safely and efficiently while delivering a high level of customer service in accordance with FAA regulations and company procedures. This position functions as a First Officer with priority upgrade eligibility, supporting flight operations, collaborating with flight crews and dispatch, and maintaining the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and operational excellence.


Responsibilities
• Operate aircraft in compliance with FAA regulations, company SOPs, and safety standards
• Review maintenance status, NOTAMs, weather, routing, and fuel requirements prior to departure
• Conduct required pre-flight inspections, safety procedures, and cockpit flows
• Communicate with dispatch, ground operations, ATC, and flight attendants throughout flight operations
• Assist with operational decision-making during all phases of flight
• Support quick-turn operations, including light cabin cleaning and preparation
• Record maintenance discrepancies and communicate updates to operational control
• Assist with baggage handling and ground duties when required
• Participate in recurrent training, evaluations, and proficiency checks
• Maintain a professional and customer-focused presence both on and off duty


Requirements
• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 2,500 hours fixed-wing total flight time
• Minimum 500 hours multi-engine time
• Minimum 500 hours turbine time
• Minimum 100 flight hours within the previous 12 months
• FAA ATP or Commercial Multi-Engine Certificate
• FAA First Class Medical Certificate
• Valid Driver’s License
• Valid Passport
• FCC Radio Operator Permit
• No FAA violations, accidents, incidents, or suspensions
• No significant training or checkride failures


Preferred Qualifications
• 3,000+ hours total flight time
• 1,000+ hours multi-engine time
• Embraer 135/145 experience

Compensation
• Training Pay: $150 per day plus per diem
• Line Pay: $259 per day plus per diem
• Guaranteed 14-day minimum monthly salary
