As a retired Sergeant from the Orlando Police Department (25 years), I have significant experience in managing and directing personnel and equipment in high-pressure environments and emergency situations. I’m adaptable to dynamic circumstances and highly skilled in supervision and team leadership. I will bring this experience, along with a life long passion for aviation, to any employer.
I also bring a proven blend of discipline, adherence to policy, unwavering safety focus, and commitment to training and service that aligns perfectly with the aviation profession.
My law enforcement career provided experience directly transferable to the flight deck: high-stakes decision-making as a Patrol Supervisor, Specialized Units Supervisor, Crisis/Hostage Negotiator, Emergency Response Team Officer and Field Training Officer. These assignments required sound judgment, teamwork, and skilled performance under pressure. Additionally, during my years as the department’s Media Relations Officer, I communicated with media outlets and the public, building community trust and mirroring the strong communication skills expected of a professional pilot.
I currently hold FAA certificates for Commercial Single-Engine Land, Commercial Multi-Engine Land, Commercial Single-Engine Sea, and an Instrument ratings. I maintain flight deck discipline and a spotless safety record.
Thank you for your consideration. I welcome the opportunity to discuss how my background can support your organization’s continued success.
