Position Summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Fixed Wing Pilot to support safe and effective medical transport flight operations based at the Life Flight Operations Center in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Schedule
40 scheduled weekly hours supporting air medical transport operations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct safe and effective aircraft operations in accordance with FAA regulations and company policies
• Perform preflight planning and operational decision making
• Maintain aircraft cleanliness and airworthiness
• Support medical crew operations including loading and unloading patients and equipment
• Participate in flight reviews, training, and professional development activities
• Support safety initiatives and operational quality improvement programs
• Coordinate with communication specialists, crew members, and patients

Requirements

• Commercial Instrument required for single-engine operations
• ATP required for multi-engine operations
• 2,500 total time for single-engine operations
• 3,000 total time for multi-engine operations
• 1,000 multi-engine
• 200 night
• 300 instrument
• 500 multi-engine PIC
• 500 turbine PIC
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Strong aeromedical and operational communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• EMS experience
• King Air 90/200 PIC time
• PC-12 PIC time
• Turbojet experience

Compensation

• $45.55 – $71.73 per hour
