Position Summary

The Flight Instructor II is responsible for delivering high-quality, structured flight and ground instruction to Cirrus customers while supporting training operations and acting as PIC during select corporate flight activities.


Responsibilities
  • Provide flight and ground instruction in Cirrus aircraft
  • Conduct training in accordance with Cirrus curriculum and standards
  • Evaluate student performance and recommend for checkrides
  • Maintain detailed training records and documentation
  • Act as PIC for demonstration, ferry, and training flights
  • Perform pre-flight and post-flight aircraft duties
  • Customize training to meet individual student needs
  • Maintain high standards of safety and professionalism

Requirements
  • FAA CFI (Airplane Single Engine + Instrument)
  • Commercial ASEL with Instrument Rating
  • Second Class Medical or higher
  • 350 hours dual given (or 250 in Cirrus aircraft)
  • Minimum 1 year pilot experience

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in IMC, mountain flying, and congested airspace
  • International and night flight experience
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
