Position Summary

The Fixed Wing Pilot operates Corewell Health aircraft and is responsible for flight safety, operational decision-making, and compliance with FAA regulations and company policies. This role supports medical transport operations.

Responsibilities

• Operate Corewell Health aircraft
• Maintain required documentation per FAA and company standards
• Communicate and collaborate with team members and community partners
• Maintain accountability for safety of aircraft operations
• Support development and improvement of policies and procedures
• Prioritize safety in all decision-making

Requirements

• Fixed Wing Pilots: 3500 total flight time
• 2500 hours Pilot in Command of multi engine aircraft
• 1500 hours of Pilot in Command of a turbine powered aircraft or be insurable as a ‘named pilot’
• Experience in Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) and night operation
• CRT-Air Transport Pilot – Needs by 2 years
• CRT-FAA Flight Physical – DOT Department of Transportation Upon Hire
• CRT-U.S. Passport or in the process of obtaining – Upon Hire
• LIC-Commercial Pilot License – State of Michigan Upon Hire

Preferred Qualifications

• EMS flight experience
• FAA part 135 experience
