Position Summary

The Supervisor of Flight (SOF) oversees flight training operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and standardized instruction while mentoring instructors and supporting student progression.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily flight operations for safety and efficiency
• Monitor student progress and training quality
• Perform stage checks and evaluations
• Mentor and develop flight instructors
• Conduct instructor onboarding and performance reviews
• Coordinate with maintenance and customer service teams
• Support safe ground and flight operations

Requirements

• CFI and CFII required
• Strong knowledge of FAA regulations and training standards
• Leadership and team management experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to be on-call (24/7 as needed)
