Position Summary

The Chief Pilot leads the Seattle-based flight operations under Part 91, overseeing pilots, ensuring regulatory compliance, and managing training, safety, and operational standards across the corporate aviation department.


Responsibilities
  • Supervise Seattle-based pilots and flight operations
  • Manage training programs (initial and recurrent)
  • Oversee compliance with FAA regulations and company SOPs
  • Participate in Safety Management System (SMS) oversight
  • Coordinate scheduling, licensing, and operational needs
  • Maintain operational manuals and documentation
  • Assist with budgeting and financial planning
  • Support department leadership and cross-base coordination
  • Stay current with regulatory and industry developments

Requirements
  • ATP (ATPL)
  • First-Class Medical Certificate
  • Multi-Engine Land (MEL) with appropriate type rating
  • Current PIC proficiency (FAR 61.58)
  • 5,000 hours total time
  • 3,000 hours turbine multi-engine
  • Valid passport and driver’s license
  • Ability to pass TSA and airport background screening
  • Right to work in the United States

Preferred Qualifications
  • Gulfstream G280 type rating
  • Instructor / Training Captain experience
  • SMS and risk management experience
  • Bachelor’s degree
